Get to Know Me!
Hey, I'm Ferhat Akan
I was born in 2002 and I’ve always had a thing for music. It started really early for me. My mom sings a lot at home and my dad had a guitar that was always lying around. Music was kind of always in the background while I was growing up, so it didn’t take long before I wanted to try it out myself. When I was 13, I downloaded FL Studio for the first time and started messing around with beats. I had no idea what I was doing at first, but I stuck with it. Fast forward to now and I’ve been making music for over 10 years. It’s something I still love doing and probably always will.
I mostly make EDM and hip-hop beats, but I enjoy trying new styles too. It’s just fun for me. I don’t do it to be famous or anything, I do it because it feels natural and I enjoy creating stuff from scratch. It’s a big part of who I am and something I always go back to, even when life gets busy.
Music and Gaming Somehow Mix
Besides music, I’ve always been into gaming. It’s actually kind of funny because the first game I ever really got into was Guitar Hero, which kind of kept the music thing going too. One day I was hitting notes on a plastic guitar, and the next thing I knew I was playing Valorant and CS2 with my friends. Not sure how that happened, but here we are.
Gaming is something I use to relax and also to hang out with people. Whether it’s winning a match or just messing around in voice chat, I enjoy the whole thing. It gives me the same kind of escape that music does, just in a different way.
Life Outside the Screen
Even though I love being at my computer, I also enjoy spending time outside. I play a lot of football with friends when the weather is nice. I support Borussia Dortmund and AIK, so yeah, football is a pretty big thing for me. We also sometimes play chess when we’re just chilling, and those matches can get weirdly intense.
Spending time with my friends, talking nonsense, and just having a laugh is something I really enjoy. I like simple things. Music, games, football, and good company. That’s kind of my vibe.
Who I Am
I’d say I’m a pretty relaxed and curious person. I like learning new things, trying stuff I’ve never done before, and I don’t take myself too seriously. I care a lot about the people around me and I always try to bring good energy into whatever I’m doing. Whether it’s a group project, a gaming session, or just a regular day, I like to make it feel easy and fun.
I think the people who know me would probably say I’m easy to get along with, a bit funny (hopefully in a good way), and always willing to help out when I can.
